I so love a short and sweet Random Act of Kindness story…
Today I was in a tiny shop in Wells buying some red and white ribbon and the lovely lady serving me asked what I was going to make with it. I explained that as I was on the school PTA (even though I am most definitely NOT a PTA Mum) the children had decorated some paper triangles and this ribbon was to turn it into bunting for our Queen’s Tea Party. The lady handed over my change and as I was turning to leave she shuffled out from behind the counter saying, “wait a minute you can have this… for free.” What did she hand over? Half a metre of Union Jack ribbon. Just enough for bows at the end of our bunting.
Now how lovely was that?
